Awards, honors:In 1994 the 1st prize of the Kaali Foundation at the Medical Student Conference at Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical University.
In 1995 special award from F. Hoffmann-La Roche and from the Hungarian Hematological and Transfusion Society for helping the development of a PCR based kit in the diagnosis of CML.
3rd prize for oral presentation at the Regional Medical Student Conference of Attila József University, Faculty of Science, Szeged (1996) and at the National Medical Student Conference, Natural Science section (1997).
In 1997 1st price from the Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for the work entitled “The importance of bcr-abl gene rearrangement in CML”
